BookingGlass was a startup in partnership with major airlines and hotels.

challenge

First, Billups Design was approached to help define and plan a sophisticated web app for a new hotel booking service that brings together and displays multiple travel-related offers and value add-ons for frequent travelers and other more specialized demographic groups. Second, we were asked to brand this new company and its web site so that it could quickly establish brand equity with its new users and establish an identity as strong as its established competitors’.

solution

UX: from concept to prototype, Billups Design took the lead in translating business goals and customer preferences into a booking engine that is unique, compelling and easy-to-use. Because of the complexity of search functions and results display, a robust ux design patterns library was designed to make research and reservations as easy as possible.

The BookingGlass name and brand: Billups Design extrapolated all of its customer data and early creative insights to create a new name and logo that positioned it well with prospects and competitors alike: BookingGlass.

impact

We created a software and marketing Beta site, which accomplished funding and partnership with key airlines and hoteliers to get traction in the market and lay the foundation for the national roll-out. Then the new brand was incorporated into the Beta site systematically, with close attention paid to all marketing and functionality touch-points.
